About MacDougall and Hastie

David MacDougall and Stephen Hastie both local butchers first set up on Tommnahurich Street in December 1992.

The shop moved two years later to the counter in the Market Arcade and quickly built up a large customer base. This then followed with the move in April 2007 into the exsisitng shop that is situated in the Inverness Victorian Market

MacDougall and Hastie are recognised as one of the premier suppliers of meat, poultry and game in the City. Our aim is to always offer customers all the traditional favourites using only Scotch beef, lamb or pork, all locally sourced where possible.

With a passion for good food MacDougall and Hastie are also know for their modern and innovative products such as beef chilli sausages or the pork and honey mixed pepper sausages as well as chilli burgers, their new bacon and cheese burgers plus the award winning champion football pies 2009.
